BLACK GUNS ROCKING THE TOWNIE
Thanks again to everyone who made it down to The Tote for our EP Launch. It was a massive night for all involved and a great start to the New Year. We'll have some photos of all the shenanigans online ASAP. In the meantime we hope you're all digging the new CD. We've got plenty more to come real soon.
Black Guns are back in action at The Townie (The Town Hall Hotel in North Melbourne) on Saturday 23rd February. Come on down and join us on the sticky carpet for a very intimate show. There's bound to be beers and cheers a plenty.

FAREWELL NICK COOPER
What a fricken epic night it was on Friday at The Tote. A big thanks to everyone whop made it down. Especially BIG thanks go out to Black Guns manager and mate Nick Cooper who's leaving the band and the country to travel Europe. Good luck mate, look forward to having a beer with ya again soon.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
Happy new year rockers!
Hope ya’ll had a relaxing break and are as pumped as we are about rocking the hell out of 2008.
We’ll kick off on Friday 1st February with the launch of “A Year In the Life” at The Tote. Believe us when we say this is gonna be a night to remember! We’ve got some special guests lined up to perform onstage with Black Guns as well as our rock brethren in My Dynamite and Street Walking Panthers. Stay tuned for more announcements regarding the launch coming over the next fortnight… we may even load a track or two onto MySpace.

A YEAR IN THE LIFE

BLACK GUNS eagerly anticipated new EP "A Year In The Life" is set for release in February!!
We know it's beeen a loooong wait but it's finally here and we're stoked to announce that it will be released at The Tote on Friday, 1st February. Lock it into your diaries... it's gonna be the party of a lifetime with plenty of giveaways, special guests and new merch.
Talk about bang for your buck, the new release contains
8 tracks of classic Aussie rock... including 'Long Road' the first single off the forthcoming LP, a cover of The Easybeats' track 'St Loius', four ball tearing live tracks and the previously unreleased demo of Runaway... and here's the kicker.... A LIMTED RUN HAND NUMBERED COPY IS FREE TO EVERY ONE WHO ATTENDS THE EP LAUNCH.

CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY
What a kick arse year 2007 has been!
We're gonna take some time out from the studio to play one last show for 2007 this Friday, 16th November at Ding Dong with Electric Mary. It's going to be a fitting finale for 2007 as the year closes out at the same place it began for us, at Ding Dong.
Come down and share in the beers and cheers as we make an epic finish to an amazing year! Check out the TOUR section for all the details. Make sure you get down nice and early for this one because BLACK GUNS are opening up.
Oh, and don’t get all teary eyed just yet… believe us when we tell ya you're gonna need the rest over Christmas... next year is gonna be a non-stop BLACK GUNS party. The new EP is has been polished off and a release show in January will be announced shortly. Stay tuned, the story’s only just begun!

BLACK GUNS DEBUT ALBUM
That's right folks. Black Guns have been locked away in the studio over the last month preparing new tracks which will be committed to tape for prosperity in November and released in the New Year on Black Guns debut ALBUM!! Oh yeah baby. It's been a long time coming and there are a bunch of people that we need to thank but all that will come in good time.
We promise this is gonna be a seriously kick arse rock'n'roll album with something for everyone. There's gonna be a few oldies for those of you who've been supporting us through the thick and thin over the last couple of years and a bunch of new tracks which kill everything else we've released up to this point. We can't wait to give it to you early in 2008.
Can’t wait for the new album? Well neither can we so in the meantime we have some special releases planned to tide you over. All 8 TRACKS of the new Black Guns EP have just been completed and a release date will be announced shortly... stay tuned!!

BLACK GUNS SHOW THEIR CARDS
It's been a long time between drinks but Black Guns and Showcard are back together at long last for a momentous night of celebratory rock'n'roll at the Espy Public Bar (that's downstairs) on Saturday, 29th of September... after the 2007 AFL Grand Final. Any feeble post-game entertainment offered up by the AFL is NO MATCH for the beer swilling good times of a night at the Espy with Melbourne's finest.

BIG BROTHER?
YES! It's true.
Your ears didn't deceive you.
BLACK GUNS were playing loud
and proud throughout the recently aired BIG BROTHER 2007 finale. Actually, we got hooked up earlier this year and were played throughout the season but they dropped the hammer and gave us a right royal flogging in the final show. Thanks for all the kind words of support despite our appaling taste in television.
We've just uploaded some new photo's from the recent sold out POW show with Airbourne in the MEDIA section of the site so go check em out. We've also uploaded the AWGASM clothing promo clip featuring some truly demented base jumping in KL and even sicker sound track.

BLACK GUNS are coming back for a second helping!!
After our epic Airbourne tour support at the National Hotel last week, we're stoked to announce we're heading back to G-Town on Saturday the 18th of August to rock The Barwon Club to its foundations with local ladies Killerbirds and those mysterious misfits The Ladyboys. Geelong hasn't seen a rock'n'roll party like this since the 70's so fix your hair, put on your best duds and get your asses along for another heaping helping of rock'n'roll high times.

It's been a long time coming but we promised we'd be back here sooner or later. There's been so much happening that getting the new site online kinda fell by the wayside but we finally got our own space back up on the internet. There's plenty of changes and additional content planned for the site so let us know if there’s anything specific you wanna see up here. You can also check out all the old news articles we posted on the old site in our NEWS ARCHIVE here. Ahhhh memories.
First and foremost we wanna kick off the new site by saying a big THANKYOU to all the friends who made it down to the Rob Roy for our EP Recording. It was fucking legendary playing to a full house and everyone would agree that it was one of the most RIOTOUS shows BLACK GUNS has ever played. We've whacked some photos and videos from the show up in the PICS section.
We've been spending our time recently hanging out in the studio bashing out demo's for a forthcoming album. We have a bunch of awesome releases planned for the coming months so check back regularly for all the latest straight from the horses mouth.
